I Spent Seven Years in Your Shoes

Most wellness coaches burned out in corporate, then found wellness. 

I did the reverse.  After four years as a wellness coach—working with 150+ clients on stress management and  body awareness—I made a surprising choice: I took a corporate job. 

For seven years, I lived what my clients were experiencing. Marketing roles. Communications. Back-to-back meetings with no time to eat. The Sunday  anxiety I used to help clients manage—now mine. The shoulder tension I taught about—now  lodged in my own body. 

Here’s what I learned: You can know all the right strategies and still find it nearly  impossible to implement them when you’re caught in the system. 

After seven years, I returned to coaching—but different this time. 
Now I understand the gap between knowing and doing because I’ve lived in that gap. I know  why the 3 PM crash hits AND why grabbing another coffee feels like the only option. I know  the nervous system science behind Sunday anxiety AND the actual knot in your stomach  when dreading Monday.
